EP create two films for Racing Staff Week to celebrate the roles of racing staff
EP has always been a big supporter of Racing Welfare, a charity who provide help and guidance in a variety of ways to the British horse racing workforce. Focusing on the wellbeing of staff across the industry, Racing Welfare holds a special place at EP and the team continue to support their amazing work, alongside producing a number of various films in aid of the charity. Visual Director Nathan Horrocks is particularly passionate about Racing Welfare having begun his career as a racing groom himself.
Racing Staff Week (30 June – 07 July) is an annual event held by Racing Welfare. The week includes activities that celebrate the various roles of racing staff. The aim is to engage and inform horse racing audiences about the hard work, skill and passion involved in racing.
Second A Day – a compilation film to celebrate the roles of racing staff behind-the-scenes
After the success of last year’s Racing Staff Week film, EP produced another second-a-day film for this year’s Racing Staff Week. The compilation film comprises of short snippets documenting the daily roles of people working in the racing industry – from yard grooms to stall handlers.
A huge thanks to everyone who sent in snippets, it was great fun for the team to catch a glimpse of staff across the horse racing industry in their various roles.
