EP make history by delivering new levels of spectating through RiderCam in the live broadcast of the FEI World Equestrian Games™ in Tryon
Showcasing three of the eight FEI equestrian disciplines – eventing, showjumping and driving – EP’s specially designed head camera, RiderCam, provided an insight and point-of-view experience into each sport at the FEI World Equestrian Games™ as part of the live coverage by host broadcaster Sunset+Vine.
Jump into the showjumping ring through the eyes Danielle Goldstein, sit tight as Badminton winners Jonelle Price and Classic Moet go clear cross-country, or take on the twist and turns during the driving marathon course, RiderCam offered spectators a first-hand perspective of the action during the FEI World Equestrian Games™.
Adapting to the different requirements of each combination, EP tailored the RiderCam kit to each competitor’s needs. The compact, light nature of RiderCam impressed athletes who unanimously felt no restriction or impact from RiderCam, it proved a resounding success during the event.
Specifically designed with equestrian sports in mind and weighing just 74g, including the strap, RiderCam delivers full HD pictures and live broadcast streaming via radio frequency technology.
As part of the host broadcast team with Sunset+Vine, and fully sanctioned by FEI, RiderCam was a unique and versatile opportunity to capture the action of this top level competition.
